Summary of Teaching Experience

In teaching, I have 6 years of teaching experience in the area of communications and electronics. The courses include Wireless Communication Systems for Masters level, and Electronics Devices, Digital Electronics, Communication Principles, as well as final year electives such as Digital Communication Systems and Wireless Communication Systems for undergraduate level. I also supervised the teaching laboratories in the faculty. I always provide practical examples, industrial case studies and hands-on activities to the students. This is important as having strong fundamentals will help the students to put theories into practices while allowing them to link fundamentals and concepts to the state-of-the-art technologies.

Current Subject - Introduction to Electrical Engineering

This course serves as a general introduction to electrical engineering programmes offered by the School of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Students undertaking this course will be exposed to attributes of electrical engineers from both academic and practical points of view. Soft skills and knowledge that are necessary in the engineering world will be introduced to the students. The students will have a clearer understanding on the responsibilities of electrical engineers to the society. By exploring contemporary issues, the students would be able to suggest sustainable solutions to the mankind and its environment.
